Dark Allegiances
Issued in 1996 and set just before WWII, this story includes the Ku Klux Klan, Roosevelt and Hitler. Sounds like winning ingridiences. Howard Chaykin is behind both the art and the story, and story is interresting enough, but I feel the drawing is a bit below par. It should, maybe have been kept in a more prewar style, and also The Batmobile is a clone of "The Cadzilla" of ZZ-Top fame, and a bit out of time. But I guess all this is a matter of taste.
