Gotham Noir
This is another of my favorite stories. Set in pre-WWII Gotham in a dark timecorrect style, Sean Phillips art captures the essence, and Ed Brubakers story is right on the money. And how this joker caracter gets his wide grin, and looses his mind, is well worth the cover price. Published in 2001.
