WOW!!:

This model, aptly called "WOW", was an official Dave Stevens design and manufactured in 1989 by Graphitti Design and was based on Dave Stevens Betty caracter from the comic book Rocketeer. Mr. Stevens was clearly inspired by the 50s PinUp Bettie Page, albeit a more cartoon-like apperance.

A great resin model given the time it was issued. "WOW" was cast in a smooth skin colored resin and was originally produced to be a unpainted display model.It is notisable when you go for painting, as I did. Some hard to reach undercuts and it was all cast in one piece.I painted it more or less as the comic art showed, but went for a darker red satin sheet.
